COOK WANTED FOR POPULAR CHAIN OF CHINESE RESTAURANTS
The Flying Wok is long established and is expanding, there are now four restaurants at Eastlands, Northgate, Glenorchy Central and Bridgewater in Tasmania, Australia. This expansion has placed some strain on skilled labour resources. Another skilled chef will alleviate this and allow this growing business to consider further expansion.
Applicants from Australia and overseas are encouraged to apply. The wage will be in accordance with Australian Workplace agreements and not less than the current market rate applicable for the industry. A generous remuneration package is offered and includes 4 weeks holiday a year, overtime, and superannuation.
Applicants are expected to have skills in Chinese & Mandarin cuisine cooking.
The successful applicant will be expected to
- Develop and update food and beverage knowledge
- Use the principals and methods of Chinese cookery
- Prepare and produce asian food
- Design, plan and write Chinese menus
- Work with colleagues and customers
